AF-POWER commenced in 2010 in response to the need for renewable energy particularly in Africa as well as other areas.

The Group being already active in the Mining, Oil & Gas and EPC sectors in Africa, South America and Asia.

With the growing immediate demand for power in Africa and all emerging economies in general, we provide short/medium/long term solutions for Conventional power generation from a range of fuels including Diesel (HSD), HFO and Natural Gas which is becoming the preferential fuel source due to its economical and low pollution elements.

We are planning to invest in 800 - 1500 MW of new projects on the African Continent and potentially 2 - 400 MW in the Caribbean and South East Asia in the next five years.

• Short/Medium term - 3 to 5 years
• Medium/Long term - 5 to 20 years

Short/Medium term : This provides for the urgent need of power in a country. These are HSD based power generation plants which can be installed within 3 - 4 months of finalization of contractual agreements.

Medium/ Long term : Our Conventional HFO/GAS (including dual fuel) power plants range from 30 -250 MW and offer strategic electricity stability in developing and emerging economies for national growth. Our Green Renewable power projects are affordable, long term and also provide socio economic value to the country and society. In Africa we are focused on Biomass Gasification Projects primary due to factors such as zero pollution, rural employment and development, and Plants of 5 to 10 MW where the biomass is an indigenous renewable resource.
